How to Tie a Scarf—Two Loops with a Ring

How to Tie a Scarf - Bow Knot with a Ring
Take a thin scarf and one that is at least 35" x 35. You will need a scarf ring that is at least 1" in diameter. (The scarf ring I am using in the video is smaller so I had some trouble.) Fold it on the diagonal to make a triangle. Pinch the 2 long sides of the scarf somewhere in the middle and push the fabric through the scarf ring. Fan out the fabric that comes through. Adjust as necessary.
How to Tie a Scarf—Ring Knot
Take a thin and small silk scarf - no longer than 25" x 25. You will need a scarf ring that is split in the middle. Fold the scarf on the diagonal to make a triangle. Take one side and push the fabric through the opposite hole of the scarf ring. Take the other side and push it through the other hole of the ring. Take the 2 ends and pull them to make it tighter or wear it looser. Flip the to the side. Adjust as necessary.
How to Tie a Scarf—Weave Knot
I call this the "weave knot" because it looks like weaving. When done well this knot looks beautiful. It works both with silk and knitted scarves. It also works with a rectangular scarf. Note: a thin scarf would not work as this knot is more effective when the fabric has more volume.
You will need a silk scarf that is at least 35" x 35, a longer will work better. Fold the scarf on the diagonal to make a triangle. Pleat the scarf so that you have one long band. Put it in front on your neck and then loop it around to bring the 2 ends to the front. Loosen the band in the middle and going from the top, push one end in but not all the way through. Push the other end through the opening created by the first end. Pull both ends. Tie 2 more regular knots. Adjust as necessary.
How to Tie a Scarf —Flower Knot
Take a thin and small silk scarf - no longer than 25" x 25. On the diagonal, take the two opposite ends and tie them securely at the very end. Take 1 other end and push it under the two you just tied. Take the last end and push it under the tie to the opposite direction. Take the ends and keep pulling until you have something that looks like a "flower" in the middle. Tie the 2 ends in the back. Fluff the "flower" and you are ready to go.
